Information about the festival
The Dvořák Prague International Music Festival will feature leading orchestras and soloists from the Czech Republic as well as top-class ensembles and renowned musicians from abroad for the ninth time this year during 5 to 24 September 2016. The festival is dedicated to commemorating the legacy of the musical genius of Czech composer Antonín Dvořák.
The festival programme is organized into characteristic program series; World Orchestra, Dvořák Collection III, Chamber Series, D-day, Spiritual concert, Czech Philharmonic, Recital, Dvořák Matinee and Family Day.
As has been the tradition, the festival's center stage will be the Rudolfinum Concert Hall. The Chamber Society series will be presented in the St. Agnes Cloister. The Spiritual concert will be held in St. Vitus Cathedral.
